Mr. Lange received his B.A. and M.A. degrees in Geology in 1961 and 1963 from the University of Missouri. His Master thesis "The Geology of the Lewis and Clark Pass Area, Montana" was a field mapping project in the Montana Disturbed Belt. He has over 45 years experience in petroleum exploration and exploitation in the Rocky Mountain area working both carbonate and clastic sediments.
Since 1986 Mr. Lange has been an independent geologist originating prospects in the Williston Basin, Greater Green River Basin and the Sand Wash Basin. At TPA since 1992, he has worked or is working on projects in the Illinois Basin, southeast and central Kentucky, Michigan, western New York, the Unita Basin, central Utah Wasatch Plateau, Henry Mountain Basin, Kaiparowits-Kolob Plateaus, the North Park Basin Colorado, Greater Green River, Hanna, Wind River, Powder River Basins of Wyoming and the Williston Basin, North Dakota. |
