| Dr. Andrew received a B.S. degree in Geology from University of Tulsa and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Geology, (Geophysics minor) from the University of Wisconsin. He is working with TPA as a play/prospect generator in Colorado, Montana, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wyoming. He started in the petroleum industry in 1963 as a summer hand with Chevron in Montana. The following year he worked for Mobil in New Mexico. He was with Shell Oil Company in Operating Divisions in Midland, Houston, and New Orleans for eight years. He then transferred to Shell's Bellaire Research Center where he worked for four years developing Shell's seismic stratigraphy concepts, techniques and software to fully integrate seismic and geology. For two years he was an in-house technical advisor and mentor to Marathon Oil Company staff in Wyoming. In 1982 he co-founded and became President/CEO of StratSeis Inc., a technical consulting/data acquisition company, located in Denver, specializing in seismo-stratigraphic interpretation and seismic data acquisition using nonlinear vibroseis technology. Since 1986, he has been consulting in: (1) seismic stratigraphy, stratigraphic models and obtaining stratigraphy from seismic data; (2) improving seismic resolution, frequency and bandwidth using nonlinear vibroseis sweeps, methods and technology; (3) employing technology and the synergistic interpretation of multiple data to minimize cost and reduce risk in gas/oil exploration; and (4) applied geology and geophysics for gas and oil exploration, prospecting, evaluation and exploitation. Recently he began teaching as an adjunct instructor at Arapahoe Community College in physical and historical geology. |
